Tokara

Obie Oberholzer

At the centre of the Cape Winelands lies the Simonsberg mountain, a fynbos-rich massif, home to exceptional vineyards since the 17th century. It’s on the southern slopes, with unrivalled views over False Bay to Table Mountain, that you will find Tokara’s vineyards and olive groves.

This wine book was photographed by Obie Oberholzer over 2 years, with various visits to incorporate the colouring of the seasons,
the harvesting of the grapes and olives and the various moods of this farm’s unique gardens.

This was a labour of love and shows that this is indeed the fairest Cape in all the world.
